Books I need to purchase:
Final Truth: Autobiography of a Serial Killer by Donald Gaskins
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (on recommendation)
Bel Canto by Ann Patchett (on recommendation)
Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos.
That's not all, of course, as I continue to pick up books by certain authors, but I don't need to remind myself of those.
After work today, I jetted over to the large bowling alley for the Wednesday bowling match. The team and the coach had invited me back for a visit, after all. So I hung around and chatted with them for a couple of games, and then drove home through blinding snow and rush hour traffic.
I miss being on the bowling team. My senior year was generally agreed by all to be the best year of the last four, so my most recent memories of it are good ones, indeed. I think that's one of the very few things I miss about high school - and most of what I miss about high school has to do with a few of the books in the school library.
I have not so much a case of writer's block as writer's stall. This bothers me.
Oh, and I rented The Truth About Charlie and The End of the Affair.
And I apologize for the pun in the entry title.
