Reading this book moves me so much that I can feel his arm around me, my hand on his shoulder, elbow to elbow. I can inhale his scent. I can feel him fail to guide me in that completely non-capable way, apologizing and mostly keeping his eyes closed as his feet rock gently on the floor, not noticing or not much caring that I've stopped following, that this is enough for me, just to be.
This is surely the most beautiful book I have ever read.
