I made it through the semester, and I actually came out pretty well in the end. Now: five grad school apps, one more semester, one thesis, one internship, one thesis defense. Woo! I've actually been pretty productive so far this break, which is a very, very good thing.
Umm, let's see. I finally picked up a copy of Delibes's Lakme, which is fabulous. Barnes & Noble only had one copy left, and thankfully, it was the one I actually wanted (the more expensive one, so I knew if I had a choice I would've opted for something cheaper). Yay coupons!
At some point in the near future I need to pick up some Nas, both his first and second albums. Because I keep forgetting how much I like his music, and I really, really like it.
Finally playing Kingdom Hearts. Finally have a copy of Kingdom Hearts. Yay birthdays! I like it so far, I guess. The Disney thing is kind of getting on my nerves, and it's so obviously geared towards a younger crowd, but eh, whatever. I should really branch out of the limited space I consider my RPG world (Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross - those last two over and over again...so many endings!).
Also, I am so excited about my recent wonderfully cheap buy at the local used book store: two books from The Knights of the Blood series by Scott MacMillan, but with an idea created by Katherine Kurtz!
Speaking of Katherine Kurtz, what the hell? She's keeping us waiting an awfully long time for her next book.
