03.2.--
2006-01-21 - 04:59 EST Well, it's time for my biannual summing up of the classes I'll be taking this semester, so here goes. Medieval Drama: A fairly useless class in general, but heaven to a linguistics freak like myself. I'm having some trouble dredging up my Middle English accent, but I expect I'll have it back in another week or so. This course is looking to be a good'un. Sci in SF: I'll enjoy the reading, but the class itself? Eh, good time for scribbling in my notebook. Eighteenth c.: Great reading, great class, great discussion. I'm excited about this class without really being excited about it. Anticipatory instead of my usual giddiness, perhaps? Black Women Writers: Shoot me. Shoot me now. (Although I admit that it could be worse.) This is not my forte at all, but I felt like I needed to pick up some more credits, so here I find myself. Philosophy of India: Essentially a class on Hinduism. The class itself is so-so, but the readings are amazing. I think I'm really going to enjoy this class, as well as learn a great deal from it. Having completed the first week, I think this semester seems like it'll be good. I don't think it'll rival last semester, but I don't think I can ever expect anything to even come close to last semester. c.i.,p.i.q.e.
